WW & SEW: Is there any doubt her age?

The picture says plenty, but if you've stopped by for some other reason than WW/SEW, then please read on! Some big things are happening in Samantha's little life that are changing the way we do things. You know, those milestones that actually alter the way your day goes (like bottle to cup, and crawling to walking). Okay, these aren't that dramatic, but they are...

Getting into the car:
1. Opening AND closing our car door.
2. Buckling herself in her car seat.

And let me just say, she has been THINKING she could do those two for a while, so I'm thankful that she can finally do them. It does take a few minutes however, and I have learned to sit in my car during that eternal time and pray.

Potty training (slow but progressing)
3. Pooped in the potty chair for the 1st time!
4. Went 3 hours in underwear and no accidents away from the house!

The biggest are CF related, and you'll hear more on November 8th:
5. She is swallowing her enzymes whole now! Yippee! No more yogurt and applesauce everywhere we go!!!!
6. She has completely moved to the Aero Chamber, cutting breathing treatments by almost 30 minutes. It's pretty darn cool.

Positives of being in transition: lots of cool developmental jumps
Negative of being in transition: this is the face on my daughter 80% of the day!

You'll really enjoy more Wordless Wednesday and Special Exposure Wednesday.

Yay for buckling herself and closing the car door!! I remember those milestones so well, it really is huge. And when they dress themselves and tie their shoes!!!

She is amazing taking her enzymes with out opening them up!!!
Rickie doesn't even want to try he just sticks them on his tongue and throws the outer shell, most of the time on the floor!! (have to work on that one!)
Loved her picture!! All I can say is (girls) haha wait until she gets to be a teenager or better yet pre-teen they cry at the drop of a dime and laugh ten seconds later!!!

Awww! I love that picture. I feel bad for her, but I know what it's like, so it's teeny, tiny, little bit funny too! I'm happy to hear about her progress!

AHH - my girls still can't buckle their own seats (well, they can do the top, not the bottom)! Such a cute picture, even if she was being anything but cute at the time :)

How much do I LOVE that you also take pictures when your children are throwing fits!!! = )

I've been looking at a similar little face here for a few weeks. I think Ellie knew changes were headed her way and she's been stuck on me for about 2 months, whereas before she was stuck on Daddy.

Last night she completely melted down at supper. She had a screaming crying fit over jello. Joel put her in her room to finish her fit. Not pleasant. My poor children are just beside themselves with the new baby and grandparents being here and momma not being able to do the usual stuff with them.

I'll end by saying physically I feel fine (thanks for asking!). Emotionally I am wrung out! Keep praying, Friend! I have a day and a half and then I get my house and family back!! Yippee!!

Aww, she's going to love this photo in a couple of years! I'm happy that she is becoming more independant. A little rough on you in the in-between times, huh?

HI! Don't remember how I found you but I've been readinf for a couple weeks. My daughter (who will be 3 on Sunday! yaaay!) has CF, too.

We recently hit the carseat buckling milestone, too! Isn't it great?

I've got to know how you got her to do her enzymes without applesauce! We have tried, but she just won't do it! Any tips???
