I want you to meet this beautiful woman, Angie, who I just recently met through the blogging world. Bennett and Ellie Grace details her amazing story of giving birth to twins and the painful loss of little Bennett. This week, in the middle of a weeks long IVF process, Angie was told by her doctor that she has Cystic Fibrosis.
Angie asked me if I've known of anyone diagnosed with CF as an adult. I have read some stories of adult diagnoses, but I don't think I've met anyone diagnosed with CF when they weren't actively seeking it. What a shock! If you know anyone in the CF world that has a similar story, please pass the word on to Angie. Of course I know the support I receive from all of you is tremendous even if our CF journey hasn't been exactly the same.
Just so you know, Angie hasn't been told yet which mutations she has. That will come soon and hopefully give her some more specific direction. In the meantime, I hope you will go over there and introduce yourselves.

I am praying for her. Thanks for the email. I posted on her site.
Hi there! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I am already checking out your post from a bit ago with all your various book clubs and reading lists... how exciting!
Are you or Angie members of Cystic-L? I know that there are several members on that list who were diagnosed as adults and I am sure they would have a lot of advice and support.
Thank you for the writing compliment! I have been reading your posts and I'm hooked! I hope it is OK that I link you on my blog. :)
I have meet a few "adult diagnoses"-- virtually that is. It is amazing how diagnosis' are coming at different times in people's lives.
At least she now knows and can start treatments and meds.
Alicia, you are ministering to so many people in so many ways...I am blessed to call you friend! Thanks for pointing us there to pray.
